Prom

Tomorrow is the daughters senior prom! Where have the last 12 yrs gone??? She graduates in 15 days. I can not believe that he school day s are almost over. I am sad but excited and so happy for her. Her life is just starting and I a so proud of her!!! Pics tomorrow!

Interview

OMG!!! I had my interview today with the photo company out of Dayton!!! Can I just say PLEASE I WANT THIS JOB!!! My interview today started with coffee went to a lab tour and ended with lunch and the offer to audition for the job! 6 hrs later I am walking on cloud 9. wish me luck!

oh what a weekend

Little man came for a visit this weekend, one of the 17 yr olds had prom, I worked saturday.... Think I'll run to the store and get stuff to make a big breakfast then take the kido's out and play in the rain! I'm still really excited for this interview on tuesday. I got my portfolio together last night and I forgot I actually take good pic. It's been awhile since I Have thought that but looking at my work last night was a good reminder that I am a good photographer! Hope you all have had a great weekend!

Life

Helllooo I know I know it has been forever since I have been here... Well I have been here just not posting. I have been busy and lazy and had not much to write. I do have news that i wanted to share with someone and thought that maybe just maybe someone out there would be happy for me cause those here at home think I'm nuts! I have a job interview on Tuesday! Its for a major wedding photographer here in Ohio and he likes my work. I will get to do a few test shoots with him and then if we both like what we see I will have the job!!!! yeah OK it's crazy but it's what I want to do. I feel like I am dying in the current job and this would force me to shoot for real again! Here's the reason that people here think I'm crazy.... It's located 3 hours from my house. It would mean travel but hello I traveled before and for a lot less money so to me it's a no brainer. we shall see. keep your fingers toes and other body parts crossed i really want this job!

Snow .. snow.. snow..

It is snowing here AGAIN! It seems like all it has done is snow lately. I know it's winter and it's suppose to snow but damn I am over it!
They have canceled school again it looks like the kids may go to school till the end of June. I am sooooo over the snow and am ready for the spring, then summer and wine on the porch in the swing with my cop!

December 1st???

How did it become December already???? where has this year gone? I am looking forward to the holiday and the busy season at work to be behind me but I am also looking forward to the start of the new year. Not that 2010 was all bad but it did have it's ups and downs. I let go of a relationship that reached it's limits and in the process gained a new friend. On the down side my little man moved 2 hour away. I miss him everyday and love the time I do get to spend with him. I started dating a cop this year and that has been an amazing adventure. She has taught me so much about myself. I love finding things out about myself that I didn't know and with the cops help I am finding my footing and learning to stand strong. This year has been full of challenges and personal conflict and i am hoping the new year will be a great way to start fresh and work on myself and the things that I know need to change in my life. I will be back to blogging more regularly and Checking in more often, I have missed my blog.!

Middle man

Well the middle man will be 11 tomorrow. I can't believe that he will be 11, where has the time gone. We are having a small family party tomorrow for him. He asked if I would take him and his bff to a movie and I of course said yes. they want to see a movie that isn't out yet so we will do it when it comes out. He is so cute he asked for a paper jam for his birthday and I had no idea what it was so I went to the toy section and found one. it's a small guitar like thing that plays music. I don't get it but it's what he wanted so i got it.
