Turkey day!

So yesterday was the first time I have ever cooked a full thanksgiving dinner. It went well and We had lots of good food and great wine. My mother joined us and we fed the grandparents as well. It was wonderful having all the kids here together for the holiday. Hope you all had a great day and lots to be thankful for.

Middle man.

Today my middle man is being honored for being on the honor roll. It's funny he started middle school this year and has done well but you could tell he missed some of the things they did in elementary school for example when he brought home his report card he said well looks like they dont have awards for middle school. I told him how proud of him we are and he was given a reward for a job well done.... so what shows up in the mail last week ... an invitation to the awards assembly at the middle school. Middle man left the house today all dressed up and walking on air. Gotta love the diva that he is...

A new love

So if you have read my blog for log you will remember that a little over a year ago I had to have my beloved weenie dog put to sleep. She had seizures and iwas for the best... (I know this but it is still hard to wright that.) Any whooo Today I saw a friend of mine who has weenies and she told me that one of her dogs had gotten killed and that she was/had been bottle feeding two little girls. She showed me a picture and my heart just melted. She is a long haired black and tan weenie so she has all the qualities that I love about weenies but she doesn't look a thing like Okie! This is all good news for me since I brought her home tonight!!! she is the most adorable thing I have ever seen. I plan to love her to pieces!!!

wacky weeding weekend!

This weekend I am shooting the wedding of a dear friends son. Nothing to spectacular about that but then you don't know Owen.... This young man is a Zombie nut, so the wedding maybe all nice and normal but the reception is going to be a ball. the first dance is a zombie love song, how cool is that! the bride has a good sense of humor so I am hoping they let me do some out of the box stuff. what a week!

So last week we had 6 graduations total!!! 2 for the daughter, 1 for her boy toy, 1 for middle man, one for little man!! and one for a friends daughter!! it was a crazy crazy week. I am so glad that it's over and I was glad to get back to work! This week has been great I spent time with a dear friend and will be shooting a wedding this weekend. I think summer is going to be great this year, I have plans to do lots of camping and things with the kidos. Hope your all enjoying the sun!!!

this has been a crazy week, all 3 of the kids graduate this week. the daughter graduated from the career center on Tuesday and will graduate from high school on Sunday. Middle man graduated from elementary school yesterday and Little man graduated from preK. It has been a crazy whirl wind kinda week.. enjoy the pics!
